LABULK 325 Activated Carbon Apparent Density Tester
LABULK 325 Activated Carbon Apparent Density Tester is used to measure the packed bulk density(apparent density) of GAC granular activated carbon. Put sample into a reservoir funnel and adjust the frequency of a vibratory feeder, the sample is filled via a feed funnel into a graduated cylinder. Weigh the sample inside and calculate the apparent density.

How is apparent density determined?-Apparent density (bulk density) is determined on a granular sample by measuring the volume packed by a free fall from a vibrating feeder into an appropriately sized graduated cylinder and determining the mass of the known volume.
