LABULK 325 Activated Carbon Bulk Density Tester
LABULK 325 Activated Carbon Bulk Density Tester is used to measure the packed bulk density(apparent density) of granular activated carbon. Put sample into a reservoir funnel and adjust the frequency of a vibratory feeder, the sample is filled via a feed funnel into a graduated cylinder. Weigh the sample inside and calculate the bulk density.

What kind of activated carbon can be tested by LABULK 325?-Granular activated carbon is defined as a minimum of 90 % being larger than 80 mesh i.e. 180 micrometer
How is apparent density determined?-Apparent density (bulk density) is determined on a granular sample by measuring the volume packed by a free fall from a vibrating feeder into an appropriately sized graduated cylinder and determining the mass of the known volume.
