LABULK 305 Plastic Materials Bulk Density Apparatus

LABULK 305 Plastic Materials Bulk Density Apparatus is an apparatus measures physically the apparent density of plastic materials and moulding materials. It is produced according to international standard ISO 60 Plastics — Determination of apparent density of material that can be poured from a specified funnel. LABULK 305 also conforms to DIN 53 466. 305 is equipped with a calibrated 100ml density cup.

PRINCIPLE

ISO 60 Plastics – Determination of Apparent Density of Material that can be poured from a specified funnel.ISO 60 specifies a method of determining the apparent density, that is the mass per unit of volume, of loose material (powder or granular material) that can be poured from a funnel of specified design.

    We’re trying to eliminate variation in our bulk density measurements for our plastic pellets ( 2.0mm to 3.0mm normal Length; diameter range) and then we also would like to be able to measure our powder materials with more accuracy. We currently just use graduated cylinder (500ml), we seen to much variation with any smaller cylinders. I am looking for funnel/cylinder system to use. Thanks for your help.
